Christmas Showcase Performances

The costumes for these performances are simple. Dancers receive one piece (a top, skirt, or jacket) from EPDA and provide the following of their own to complete their costume. 

Wear your own: 

• Solid Black Leggings – worn with ALL costumes 
• Solid Black Leotard - worn with ALL costumes (any kind of sleeve, no skirt attached) 
• Dance Shoes for your class(es) dance genre
• Hair: SLICK low ponytail with a part down the middle. No bangs unless they are shorter than eyebrows. No bangs for older dancers. Hair tie the same color as hair. Ponytail ends can be styled however you’d like. 
• Make-up: Red lipstick and black mascara. Additional make-up is optional for older dancers. 
• No Jewelry: Pierced ear small studs are optional, but no other jewelry. No hair glitter or hair accessories that were not provided by EPDA.
• No Socks Showing: Dancers can wear tan dance tights under their leggings if they want to have tights inside their tap or jazz shoes. Thin socks can be worn with tap shoes, but they must be NO-SHOW socks. No socks of any kind worn with jazz shoes. Jazz shoes can be worn with tights or no socks. Any kind of sock that is not showing can be worn with hip hop shoes.
