Performances

Parents Watch Week

The last week of each month dancers have a casual and mini performance at the studio. Parents are invited into the studio classroom during the last 10 minutes of class to see what dancers have been working on.

May Dance Recital

Our dance recital in May is our BIG end of the season show! All classes perform on stage with beautiful costumes and choreography. Recitals are themed and have all ages and dance genres in the same show.  Dancers ages 3-6 perform in one of our two shows. Older dancers get to perform twice.

The Nutcracker Ballet

The Nutcracker is one of the most famous of all the Ballet’s.  A ballet is a traditional story told through ballet dance. The Nutcracker was first performed in Russia in 1892. It is a story that takes place at Christmas time and is performed by hundreds of dance companies and studios throughout the world each December. Dancers will grace the stage with the original storyline and traditional characters, music, costumes, props, backdrops, and more. We are thrilled to be producing this ballet for our dancers to work towards and enjoy being a part of. Every ballet class will be performing in at least one of our two performances of “The Nutcracker.” Older classes will perform in both shows.

Christmas Studio Showcase

The second week in December we will be holding our “Christmas Studio Showcase” for all dance genres not performing in “The Nutcracker” that weekend. Jazz, Pom, Tap, Hip-hop, Acro Dance, and Ballet Folklorico will all perform in the studio showcase performances. Performances will be casual and during the hour when dancers have their class(es). Accessories for costumes are provided free and there are no ticket fees. Performance will be in studio 2.

Competitions and Conventions

Dance team members compete at dance competitions and participate in dance conventions (all in West Texas), as another venue for learning experiences and growth in dance.

Community Performances

Local community events are a fun place to perform. The location, type of event, and dates all factor in if we take dances to perform at a local event or not. Events may pop-up throughout the year and will be offered to the specific groups that would be most accommodating to perform at the event.
