Bethany Bluth-Studio Owner, Teacher, and Choreographer

Bethany has been teaching dance for over 20 years. She grew up dancing and teaching at Michele’s Dance Academy in her hometown of Las Cruces, NM. She was a member of the Las Cruces Chamber Ballet where she reached the title of principal dancer. She studied dance under the direction of Kevin and Michele Self. Kevin of whom danced professionally with the renowned American Ballet Theatre in New York City (known as one of the greatest dance companies in the world).  After her years dancing in the studio setting, she then continued to pursue her love of dance and dance education in college.  Bethany auditioned and was accepted into the Brigham Young University dance department and the BYU Ballet performing company her freshman year.  She continued to perform as a member of the company every year while at BYU.  She had the privilege of learning from excellent dance professors and directors.  She has experience in jazz, tap, and modern dance, but spent years focusing on classical and contemporary ballet technique and performance.  Ballet productions with the LCCB and BYU performed include, “The Nutcracker,” “Swan Lake,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Les Sylphides,” “Snow Queen,” “Coppelia,” "Stars and Stripes," and "Rodeo." Bethany had many performing opportunities at BYU with the company and toured throughout the western and northern United States performing.  Bethany received dance scholarships and BYU Ballet Department awards including “Directors Choice,” “Outstanding Performer,” and “Outstanding Choreography.”  In 2004 she was the student president of the BYU ballet company. As a student, she was also selected and mentored to teach ballet technique classes to other college students and teach at the BYU Intensive Summer Ballet Camp.  In 2007, she graduated from Brigham Young University   and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet.  Upon graduation, she was selected and hired on as faculty and continued teaching at BYU as a part-time dance professor. Bethany also taught at the studio- The Dance Club in Orem, Utah as the head ballet teacher.  She saw many of her students from The Dance Club go on to dance in college and professionally.  A few were even featured as finalists on “So You Think You Can Dance.”  After marrying her husband AJ in 2007, they moved to Carlsbad, NM and started a family.  In Carlsbad, Bethany had the pleasure of teaching at “Cheryl’s School of Dance” for 4 years.  In 2012 they moved to the Lovington/Tatum area of New Mexico to pursue farming and ranching and focused on continuing to raise their family. Bethany is blessed with 5 children. She is grateful to have the opportunity to continue to teach and share her love and passion for dance with others.

Jasmine started dance training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, hip-hop, and swing at the age of 15.  She has performed as a dancer with Odessa High School Showgirls Dance Team, UTPB Falcon Heat Dance Team, and UTPB Ballet Folklorico Team.  Jasmine received a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance from Texas Tech University in 2010.  During her higher education, Jasmine's choreography was performed for the American College Dance Festival Association. Since then, she has taken master classes from multiple artists from companies such as: Pilobolus, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and Shen Wei Dance Arts.  She also participated as a professional for the American Dance Festival in North Carolina. She previously taught multiple levels of lyrical, jazz, hip-hop and ballet classes. Additionally, Jasmine is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique.  She wants to inspire creativity and allow growth for dancers to find their own voice through movement.

Harley Lozano - Teacher and Choreographer

Cindy is a versatile performer, choreographer, and educator with over a decade of experience across a wide range of dance styles. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from West Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Elementary Reading and Literacy.


During her time at West Texas A&M, Cindy performed in numerous productions, including The Firebird, Legally Blonde the Musical, and TEXAS: The Outdoor Musical, as well as many concerts with the University's Dance Ensemble.


After graduating in 2014, Cindy moved to Los Angeles, where she joined two professional dance companies- ZEROgravity and Layla and the Lotus Dancers. She also appeared in film and television, including The First Girl I Loved (premiered on Hulu), The Loner, the LA Pride Parade Pre-Show, and Jillian Michaels' Sweat Inc.


While working in the industry, Cindy expanded her training to include yoga, commercial dance, belly dance, and aerial arts- studying both trapeze and silks. In 2025 she was cast as a Character Dancer and Ensemble performer with Disney Cruise Line, performing aboard the Disney Magic in Broadway-style productions around the world. 


Transitioning from performer to educator, Cindy has taught at dance studios throughout Los Angeles and the Texas Panhandle and currently serves as a dance educator with Lovington Public Schools.


Dedicated to inspiring the next generation, Cindy encourages dancers of all ages to explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression through the art of dance.

Harley started dance at the age of 3 and has loved it ever since. She grew up training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She also has experience in cheer and pom. Her senior year she danced at En Pointe Dance Academy which was the first year it opened. During this year, besides increasing her training, skill, and performance, she was also trained by En Pointe Dance Academy teachers in dance teaching. She assisted classes and taught and choreographed in her own classes. She loved connecting with students and watching them grow as dancers. Harley has had the chance to study with many different teachers. She was invited to “Joffrey Summer Internship” for the hip hop program and was cast in two music videos “Hot” by Nick and Navi and “Pretender” by Steve Aoki. She also got to perform live at the B.E.T experience. Harley took class from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, which led to performing at a preseason game.  Harley specializes in teaching dance to En Pointe Dance Academy’s hip hop, pom, and young ballet dancers. As a teacher, she wants to give students the inspiration to have fun, love what they are doing, and chase their dreams!

Valerie has dedicated 18 years to her craft -- starting with ballet at a young age and later expanding into other dance styles --bringing both discipline and creative expression into every class. Over the past 4 years, she has shared that experience with students as an instructor, guiding young dancers from foundational technique to confident performance. She has studied and trained under many talented teachers, including Ms. Bethany, Jasmine, and Cindy at En Pointe Dance Academy, whose mentorship continues to shape her approach to teaching and artistry. Recently, Valerie earned certification as a Stretch and Strength Coach, integrating flexibility and strength training into her classes to enhance performance and artistry. Having fallen in love with dance herself early on, Valerie believes deeply in helping her students discover that same passion. With a warm, encouraging teaching style, she aims to inspire each young dancer to explore movement, develop skill, and fall in love with dance the way she did.  Valerie is also currently pursuing a degree in Nursing from NMJC.

Yleanna discovered her passion for dance at a young age and cherished the art ever since. Among the many styles she has explored, Folklorico holds a special place in her heart. Yleanna received ballet training through the En Pointe Apprenticeship Program and continues to expand her artistry as both a dancer and educator. 


At En Pointe Dance Academy, Yleanna teaches the youngest dancers and proudly founded the academy's Folklorico program. She is delighted to share her love of dance and cultural expression with her students and hopes to inspire them to discover their own creativity and confidence through movement.

Grace Evans grew up dancing and was a competitive cheerleader throughout high school. She is a NMJC graduate and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology. Grace holds a certification in elementary aged Acro Dance through Acrobatic Arts and is a 1st grade teacher. She was also crowned Miss New Mexico’s Teen 2024. Her platform with this title is all about finding your passion. For Grace, it is performing. She is so excited to be teaching at En Pointe Dance Academy and to share her love of dance, acro/tumbling, and performing with the children she teaches.

Alexis grew up studying dance, music and acting. Dance styles including - ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, Irish, modern, musical theatre, acro and pom, along with dancing on the Charlies Angels Dance Team in Roswell, NM. 

She has received the outstanding student award from her studio and was a member of the Studio+ Dance Company in Roswell. Alexis has attended the Texas Association Teachers of Dance, Dance Texas, and Triple Threat Texas Conventions. She has taken classes from dance masters such as Summyr Whaley ( Radio City Rockette), Libby Lovejoy (American Ballet Theatre School and The Royal Academy of Dancing in London), Rhonda Miller (Pace University), Lyn Cramer (University of Oklahoma), Joshua Carter(Giordano Dance Chicago), Jay Fagan(Presidential Scholar/ Chicago Dance), Melissa Anderson (Milwaukee Dance), Misty Rascon Smith, and more.

Alexis started teaching classes at 15 years old and has had the opportunity to teach in many different dance styles. She loves them all! Alexis is very happy to be working at En Pointe Dance Academy to share her experience and love of the performing arts with the next generation of dancers.
